The church was built in the late 1800s. It is still a parish and a beautiful church. When I was a child, there was no air-conditioning. Maybe it's the same now. I think old St. Joseph's in Astoria finally was updated with AC but we left there many years ago. Yes, we are spoiled now but love it!
