Whatsoever you do to the least of these...

Well, they're at it again. When given a chance to support an anti-abortion measure, they cave, hiding behind the usual excuses. This time it's the guys in Montana - probably afraid that supporting the measure won't get them invited to the next Democratic fund-raiser.

They always use that excuse of "Oh, well, it's not very effective". Like we're supposed to buy that BS.

Either you're on board for Life or you're not.

There seems to be a concerted effort of the US Bishops to gently (or not so gently) downplay "life" efforts.

Another example: the Wisconsin Bishops adopted a "neutral" stance on legislation FORCING all Wisconsin hospitals and MD's (and RN's) to administer "Plan B" for rape victims--despite piles of evidence which demonstrates that this CAN be abortifacient.

Spineless politicians! I wish we had brave bishops with an eye to combat anti-catholicism and to defend and build up the faith. Alas, most of them have been dead for 50 years or more.
