Motu Proprio (again)

Assuming that some day this Motu Proprio is released, I wonder if the priests who want to say the Latin Mass will have to get some sort of approval or clearance from their bishop. If so, I can just picture the above happening. (click on it to see it larger)
And yes, the resemblance to a certain Cardinal is intentional. :oD

No,the whole point of the Motu is that priests won't need the permission of their bishops.

They can get that permission today, but many bishops will give it only sparingly, or not at all.

Very true Paul (just this guy), but I wouldn't be surprised if some (arch-)bishops conveniently twist the wording. After all, look at how they screwed up translating Sacramentum Caritatis, namely section 62 on Latin (which was now fixed since Fr. Z. and others put up a good stink - kudos!)
Paul (comic artist EXTRAORDINAIRE)As for the payphone... that's on US6 somewhere in Nevada - two narrow lanes and a 70 MPH speed limit - there's a picture of said road on my blog.

Happy Easter Octave!

Thanks for clearing that up, Paul, I wasn't sure (obviously).

But like BMP says, you just know that some will twist and turn the text to just be a pain.

I'll have to look at that picture on your blog, BMP...what a coincidence....
