Obama devotion giving Jim Jones a run for his money

Sometimes, watching these dopes who swoon at the mere mention of The One's name is almost as entertaining as going to the movies. I honestly believe that if Obama started handing out that special Kool-Aid, these ding-dongs would be falling all over themselves to get in line. Welcome to the real "post-Christian" era.

The only difference between Jim Jones and Obama is that Obama is too slick to drink the Kool Aid himself.

I sometimes wonder if Obama is really t hat evil or is he a puppet in more devious (masonic) hands.
Do we know if Obama is a member of any masonic group like the Skull and Bones etc?

"Welcome to the post-Christian world": yes, because George W. Bush was the epitome of Christian statesmanship. Except for the torture and that unjust war, both of which are condemned by the Catholic Church, but oh well. And John McCain really cared about unborn babies...really. Of course, a Republican White House and Congress for the past twenty out of twenty-eight years couldn't (or didn't want to) get Roe overturned, but our savior was going to be a man who six years ago wanted it upheld.

Grow up. The post-Christian world in politics began centuries ago. Every pro-lifer should read the speech that Archbishop Chaput just gave in Ireland. Being associated with a political party with so much immoral baggage is killing the pro-life movement. Ultimately, the bottom line is this: neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party is truly pro-life in the sense that Pope John Paul the Great envisioned in Evangelicum Vitae. Stop putting your faith in princes of the world and settling for the lesser of two evils.

The mistake you make, Mickey, is in assuming that if I say the "Democrat" is bad, that this necessarily means the "Republican" is good.

Both are anti-life when compared to our Faith. The Republicans do have some true believers when it comes to life issues, but not enough to *really* be a pro-life party. For most of them, the pro-life crowd is simply another "group" to throw the occasional bone to.

GW Bush had the opportunity, especially after 2004, to make progress on pro-life issues. He failed because, in the end, it's not a big issue for him. His "pro-life" defenders notwithstanding, he spent 8 years doing window-dressing, but refused to enter the battle.

Jim Jones? Really? I bet people would enjoy your little drawings more if there was some originality to them. The truly remarkable cartoonists are those who are able to make connections that the rest of us haven't noticed. You're not shedding any light here.
