Obama's Amerika

Obama says we need "collective action". Is there any place or institution left in America (save a few families) who teach "self sufficiency" anymore? The government's official position is that we "need" assistance. Of course the goverment school systems teach the same thing - what with "team tests" and "team projects", nobody is taught that they CAN do things on their own.
