The thing I worry about is the fact that the Bishops who oppose the TLM will still control the seminaries where they will most likely make sure the Classical rite and forms are not taught there or even mentioned. That is unless the seminarians perhaps raise a voice.
Yea.. Liberals may cause much harm to the Old Rite. They may wreck it by by doing it irreverently. So I do pray that the bishops would be themselves responsible as shepherds of the diocese, and take a good look at their priests as well..
In the cartoon depiction the "hippie" priests are too young. You should have drawn them as bloated, bitter old queens.
Good point, Anonymous. Of course, if he was TOO old, he wouldn't have even been able to get out on the ledge...hehehe
I really do fret over this "freeing" of the TLM. In some cases, it would be like handing a crystal vase to a 2-year old.
But in any case, we can take comfort in the fact that the tide is turning, albeit very slowly.
