What a precious thing for a child to say.
Me, on the other hand...when my adolescent children complain that I won't let them do something or go someplace or be with someone, I tell them that if I let them do it I'd be culpable to God for being a bad parent and exposing them to danger...and letting them do something that would harm their souls is NOT worth going to Hell over!!!

I mention that sort of thing too. I don't think there are many of us that do these days, since most people see God as fluffy and cuddly.
I think that look on Dad's face just about says it all!
See what a bad example can do to little souls? "Better a millstone...itd..."
