The Holiday That Dares Not Speak It's Name...

It's good to be back!

Christmas - the ONLY Holiday where it's okay to reference in code, but you'd better not say it outright!

Great cartoons as usual and right on target. There is humor in just about every detail.

Nice play on words "Holiday" Inn : )

And Easter is only ok, if you refer to it in terms of rabbits and Easter eggs.

Heck, even then you can get into trouble, Athanasius!

Of course, the "Holiday" Inn in the movie is only open on holidays. It's also interesting that the song "Happy Holiday," in the film, is really a generic welcome to the hotel but has become the flagship song for euphemizing Christmas.
However, as Catholics, we should take great joy in saying "happy holidays," since we have so many in December and early January, including the Twelve Days of Christmas. :)
